A Cry for Help: Okoh Vera Needs Urgent Spine Surgery

Please, I’m appealing to your kind heart to help. I'm suffering from a severe case of spondylolisthesis a serious spinal condition affecting my lumbar spine.

I have lived with this pain for far too long. Every night,I depend on sleeping pills just to close my eyes. Walking even short distances is a battle for me, a one kilometer walk requires me to stop and rest 3 to 4 times. The pain is unbearable, but what hurts even more are the moments of public shame, isolation, and hopelessness this condition has brought into my life.

This illness has cost my marriage, as my husband gave up when the financial burden became too much. But what I fear the most now is losing my children. I'm pleading that you don’t let this happen 

The doctors have confirmed that surgery is the only solution, but the cost is far beyond my means.
